INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS
Not everyone who attends therapy has a traumatic past, but everyone has a story.
Individual sessions can be used to address a very wide range of topics/issues such as:
General Anxiety, Social Anxiety, and/or Panic Attacks
Sadness or Depression
Difficulty Regulating Emotions
Grief and Loss
Interpersonal Relationship Challenges
Low Self-Esteem
Body Image Struggles
Coping With Major Life Transitions
Post-Partum/Motherhood Challenges
Stress management
Substance Use
Trauma
Unresolved Pain/Emotion(s), and more.
Individual sessions are used to discuss the issue(s) that you are faced with, prioritize them, and problem-solve how to tackle them and improve your situation. I teach coping strategies that can empower you to make the necessary changes and rewrite your story.
COUPLES SESSIONS
Contrary to popular belief, couples therapy is not simply for couples who have difficulty getting along! Couples sessions are used to enhance communication and strengthen the connection between partners.
We deal with such topics/issues as:
Pre-Marital Preparation
Communication
Attachment Styles
Navigating Infertility, Miscarriage, or Infant/Child Loss
Approaches to Conflict
Parenting Challenges, etc.
Couples sessions are used to discuss both the strengths and challenges within your relationship, identify areas for growth, teaching and practicing skills, and ultimately help you to navigate decision-making regarding your relationship. I use an emotion-focused approach to ensure that each partner feels heard and supported.
